Sanja Borozan, dr med.
Department of Internal Medicine, Endocrinology section, Clinical Centre of Montenegro, Podgorica, MontenegroSanja Borozan was born in Podgorica. She studied at the Faculty of Medicine in Podgorica and at the Faculty of Medicine in Udine, Italy, graduating in 2009. She completed her residency in internal medicine, as well as a subspecialization in endocrinology, at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade. Since 2012, she has been permanently employed at the Department of Endocrinology, Internal Medicine Clinic, Clinical Center of Montenegro (KCCG).
For two years, she served as a teaching associate in the subject Pharmacology with Toxicology for three academic programs (Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmacy). Following the completion of her subspecialty training in endocrinology, she has also been engaged as a teaching associate in the subjects Internal Medicine and Clinical Propaedeutics. She is currently pursuing her doctoral studies at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Podgorica.
She is the author and co-author of several papers published in leading international journals indexed in global databases, as well as over 30 papers presented at international endocrinology congresses.
Dr. Borozan is a member of the Montenegrin Society of Endocrinologists, the Montenegrin Association for the Study of Obesity, the European Society of Endocrinology, the European Neuroendocrine Association, and the European Network for the Study of Adrenal Tumors.
Since 2021, she has been part of the medical team of the Peace Corps in Montenegro and Albania.
