Jelena Jovović, dr med.

Dr. Jelena Jovović, pediatric specialist and subspecialist in endocrinology, is employed in the Endocrinology Department of the Institute for Children’s Diseases at the Clinical Center of Montenegro.

She was born on October 31, 1982, in Nikšić.
She completed her medical studies in Bari, Italy, in 2009, during which she participated in academic programs in Port Said, Egypt, and at the Faculty of Medicine in Cordoba, Spain.

She began her professional career at the Health Center in Podgorica, and since 2012, she has been permanently employed at the Institute for Children’s Diseases.

After her basic medical education, she completed her specialization in pediatrics in 2019 at the Faculty of Medicine in Belgrade with excellent results. She went on to complete her subspecialization in endocrinology at the same faculty in 2022, and in 2024, she defended her subspecialist thesis.

She is an active member of international associations such as ISPAD (International Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Diabetes) and ESPE (European Society for Paediatric Endocrinology).
