Aleksandra Klisić, doc. dr

Aleksandra Klisić graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade, in 2004, earning the title of Doctor of Medicine. She later obtained the title of Clinical Biochemistry Specialist, as well as a Master’s degree in Medical Sciences in 2011, a PhD in Medical Sciences in 2015, and in 2018, she became a Subspecialist in Laboratory Endocrinology — the first in her cohort. That same year, she was awarded the professional title Primarius by the Ministry of Health of Montenegro.

In 2023, she was appointed Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Montenegro.

She has published the results of her scientific research in renowned Thomson Reuters (SCI/SCIE) indexed journals, with over one hundred publications, and has delivered numerous invited lectures and oral presentations at conferences. She has also participated in several national and international scientific projects.

Since 2021, she has served as Head of the Center for Laboratory Diagnostics at the Health Center (Dom zdravlja), Podgorica, Montenegro.

In both 2023 and 2024, she was included in Stanford University’s list of the top 2% most cited/influential scientists globally. For those same years, she received the Award for Scientific Achievements (as the most successful female scientist) from the Ministry of Education, Science, and Innovation of Montenegro.

She is also the recipient of a recognition award from the University of Montenegro for her outstanding achievements and contributions to scientific and professional work at the Faculty of Medicine in 2023.

She leads the accreditation team of the Center for Laboratory Diagnostics at the Health Center Podgorica, which became the first medical biochemistry laboratory in Montenegro accredited according to the MEST EN ISO 15189:2016 standard.
