Marko Baralić, dr sc. med.

Marko Baralić was born in Čačak. He is currently employed at the Clinic of Nephrology, University Clinical Center of Serbia (UCCS).

He completed his undergraduate medical studies, specialization in internal medicine, subspecialization in nephrology, as well as his doctoral studies at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade. He serves as a Clinical Assistant in the Department of Internal Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade, specializing in the scientific field of nephrology.

In May 2023, he was appointed to the scientific title of Research Associate for a five-year term. He is the author and co-author of 42 full-text publications in both national and international journals, with a cumulative impact factor of 105.

He has participated in numerous national and international scientific research projects and has received multiple awards for his research work, including a Commendation from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade, for the successful defense of his doctoral dissertation.

Dr. Baralić serves as a peer reviewer for several international scientific journals (Q1 and Q2 category) and, according to data from www.webofscience.com, has reviewed over 300 manuscripts for leading international journals. He has delivered numerous oral presentations across various topics in the field of nephrology.
