Snežana Jovičić, doc. dr

Snežana Jovičić is employed as an Assistant Professor and Research Associate at the Department of Medical Biochemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Belgrade.

She completed her specialist studies in Medical Biochemistry in 2011, and defended her doctoral dissertation in 2013.

From 2002 to 2022, she worked at the Center for Medical Biochemistry of the University Clinical Center of Serbia, and from 2012 to 2022, she was Head of the Department at the Cardiac Surgery Clinic.

She is the author or co-author of 91 scientific papers and abstracts published in national and international journals. She is a co-editor of the Journal of Medical Biochemistry and a reviewer for several international journals. As an invited speaker, she has given lectures at 44 national and international scientific meetings, congresses, symposia, and educational courses.

She is the President of the Society of Medical Biochemists of Serbia and Secretary of the Executive Board of the European Federation of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine (EFLM), where she is involved in several working groups. She is a member of the EFLM Academy and the EFLM Register of Specialists in Laboratory Medicine.
